What are the different types of Xbox consoles?
I want to buy a Xbox for the holidays. But i go into gamestop and see tons of different Xbox 360 consoles for different prices that all look the same. Then there is this elite thing. Can someone please explain the prices for all of them, and why they are different? Is it memory?

- If you're going to play games but don't plan on downloading stuff online, Xbox Arcade is the way to go. You can still play games online, but you just won't have a hard drive and won't be able to donwload demos, etc. I believe all Xbox's have hmdi connectivity now, even the Arcade but I'm not positive. You might want to double check on that, because hdmi will give you the best video and audio available. The Elite system gives you an HDMI cable in the box, which is nice because those cables are expensive. I think the Elite has backwards compatibility, so if you have a lot of old Xbox games you still play, that's a plus. The Elite also comes with a 120 gb hard drive. If I was buying a new one, I'd get the Elite. It's the best value for your money. But like I said, it all depends on how you plan to use the console.

- Basically there are three different consoles Arcade, Premium and Elite. arcade don't have HDD so u cant download demos games and videos. Premium or Pro has 20Gb or 60 Gb HDD and HD cable. Elite has 120Gb HDD and HDMI cable. Elite comes in full black colour (Looks awesome). If ur going to download demos games or videos then go for Pro. If u have HD Tv and if u have money to spend then go for Elite. My opinion is Go for 60Gb Pro. Price: Arcade=$ 199, 20Gb premium=$ 259(Production stopped replaced by 60Gb pro), 60Gb Pro=$ 299 And Elite=$ 399.
